Why McDonald’s Employees Still Deserve Respect

I am sick of going to a fast food restaurant and seeing a customer be rude to the employees. This is ridiculous.

Aren’t the people working at McDonald’s or Whataburger just trying to earn themselves some money, just like everyone else? What should it matter what their job is?

Beyond the every-so-often babysitting job, I don’t work. I don’t even have a job. Some might think of that as a privilege, but getting a job comes with a lot more than just a paycheck; it comes with responsibility, and it should come with some respect from the people you’re serving. The employees at your favorite fast food restaurant are just trying to earn some money.

So the next time you’re going to Whataburger to get a Honey-BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich (on Texas Toast, of course!) don’t forget to say please and thank you.
