Tina: The Tina Turner Musical

Hear ye, hear ye! 

Tina Turner has announced the release of one of the biggest projects of the century. In March of 2018 at London’s Aldwych Theater the premier of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical will be available to the hearts of her many fans. Written by award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the world renowned Phyllida Lloyd, TINA is the story of how a little, country girl from Nutbush, Tennessee made it to be an international rock star.

This Grammy Award-winning legend will be portrayed on stage by Adrienne Warren, who grew up listening to Tina Turner. Warren’s experience includes Encores’ production of The Wiz, Lorell Robinson in the touring production of Dreamgirls, and Broadway’s production of Bring It On: The Musical.

In celebration of announcing the bio-musical, Turner performed in London after a long break for retirement.
