Coco is a movie about an aspiring musician named Miguel. Confronted with his families tradition of not liking music, Miguel enters the Land of The Dead in order to embark on a quest. Along the way, Miguel meets the charming trickster Hector and together they journey throughout the Land of The Dead in order to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

In my opinion, this is the best Pixar movie yet. It really touches on what family truly means and does a great job at depicting the yearly tradition of Dia de los Muertos. This movie is simply a stunning work of art. It captured my attention right from the very beginning, and held it the entire duration of the movie. It resulted in laughter from me, as well as brought tears to my eyes. I simply cannot put into words how amazing this movie is.
In terms of my favorite characters, I have several. I especially love Hector, Grandma Coco, and the silly dog Dante. In my opinion, they all have wonderful personalities and are an extraordinary edition to this movie.
If you are looking for an extremely colorful, well done, and exciting movie, I definitely recommend that you check out Coco! I rate this movie a solid 10/10, and it’s surely become one of my favorite movies of 2017.
