Astros make history to tie series 1-1

With everything that has been going on in Houston over the past couple of months due to hurricane Harvey, Houston has suffered a great depression.

Thanks to the Houston Astros, the city of Houston now have a reason to smile again.

In beating the Yankees in Saturday night’s Game 7 of the ALCS, the Astros made history – they’re the first team to advance to the World Series as members of both the National and American leagues.

Fans were at the edge of their seats until almost midnight Wednesday waiting to see if the Astros could get a win on the road. They did.

George Springer’s homerun makes history for the Astros giving the Astros their first World Series win.

The series returns to Houston Oct. 27 for game three.
