After nine years, Uber has finally decided to add a multiple stops feature to their service. On Thursday, the company announced that they will soon be allowing Uber riders to add up to 3 stops during their trip. As of now, the feature is continuing to roll out to users around the world, which can be found in the Uber app itself. Although, it must be noted that only customers with the latest version of the app will actually be able to see the update and begin using it. Before this new addition, people had to either change their trip during the ride or ask their friends to meet them at a certain place in order to catch the same ride with them.
In order to use the tool, simply open up the Uber app and tap “Where to?” and then the “+” option. From there, you can add the addresses of your stops and then proceed to request a ride. What’s more? Riders can also add or remove stops during their ride should they choose to do so.
Uber is certainly taking great strides towards an amazing future of transportation.
