The NBPA MVP signed a 13 year, 200 million dollar contract with Adidas last summer, leaving Nike behind and joining the ‘three stripes’ ahead of the 2015-2016 season. Last season Harden wore the Adidas Crazylight Boost 2015 most of the regular season, however did debut PE versions of the Crazylight Boost 2.5 in some games, as well as in the first round of the playoffs.
Harden also headlined the release of the highly anticipated Crazylight Boost 2016 which he wore in the Houston Rockets preseason games. However, the 4 time NBA All-star will lace up his first signature model tomorrow against the LA Lakers. Dubbed the “Harden Vol. 1”, the shoe was revealed saturday at an event in Houston, Texas. Harden was the main focus of the event, but also stood along side music artist Travis Scott, and Houston rappers Slim Thug and Z-Ro.
The shoe will feature a leather toe shroud, a unique traction pattern and adidas trademark full length ‘boost’ technology. The model has been in development for nearly a year and the first colorway is scheduled to release Dec. 3rd at a $140 price mark.
