If you don’t go trick-or-treating this year but still don’t want to miss out on all the fun and candy, here are some ideas for tasty treats.
No-Bake Candy Corn Cereal Treats
1/4 cups of butter or margarine
1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows (5 1/2 cups)
6 cups of cheerios – lightly crushed
1 cup candy corn
2 containers Betty Crocker™ Whipped vanilla frosting
1/2 teaspoon yellow paste food color
3/4 teaspoon orange paste food color
1 tablespoon white, orange and yellow candy sprinkle
- Place paper baking cup in each of 15 regular-size muffin cups; spray paper cups with cooking spray. In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 45 seconds or until melted.
- 2 Add marshmallows; toss until coated. Microwave uncovered on High about 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring after 45 seconds, until mixture can be stirred smooth. Immediately add cereal and candy corn; stir until evenly coated.
- 3 Firmly press about 1/2 cup cereal mixture into each muffin cup. Cool about 15 minutes or until firm. Remove from pan.
- 4 In small bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups frosting and yellow food color. In another small bowl, mix 1 1/4 cups frosting and orange food color. Leave remaining frosting white. Spoon each color frosting into separate quart-size resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bags. Cut off 1/2-inch corner of bags; squeeze bags to pipe frosting in layers on cupcakes to look like candy corn. Decorate with candy sprinkles.

Pumpkin Spiced and Iced Cookies
If you’re a big fan of pumpkin here’s a mouthwatering treat you can bake and enjoy.
Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease baking sheets.
COMBINE flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter and sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets.
BAKE for 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Drizzle or spread with Vanilla Glaze.
FOR VANILLA GLAZE:
COMBINE 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract in small bowl; mix well.

Spread about 2 teaspoons peanut butter over top of 10 crackers. Press 8 pretzels into peanut butter, arranging 4 on each side to resemble legs. Top with remaining crackers. Dab top of cracker sandwiches with 2 peanut butter dots. Place 1 Raisinet on each dot to resemble eyes.
