As a first time rodeo goer, Billy Currington made an amazing performance to make anyone want to return for another visit. Before he arrived on stage, fireworks went off to intensify his arrival.
He began his performance with “Give It To Me Straight” off of his album “Summer Forever”. Followed by “Don’t It”, the audience sang and danced to his energetic performance.
Along with singing to every song performed, the fans also raised their drinks to “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer” and “People Are Crazy”. The rotating stage and flashing lights gave everyone in the stadium a chance to watch Currington perform at his best.
Before playing any other songs, he reassured the crowd that they would remember the following song and as they did, they definitely sang along to “Hey Girl”, “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To”, “Must Be Doin’ Something Right”, and “We Are Tonight”.
To complete his set, Currington sang a cover of “Shut Up And Dance” by WALK THE MOON with the audience cheering and clapping for more.
The atmosphere and essence of the entire performance was an unforgettable experience. Billy Currington definitely left the Houston Rodeo with a memorable performance.
